NYT Strands Today (game #468) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #468 are …
- CROSS
- MOON
- TRIANGLE
- STAR
- STRIPE
- CROWN
- ARMOR
- Spangram: Flag symbol
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: Perfect
Today is Flag Day throughout the United States, which commemorates the adoption of the starry banner on June 14, 1777 by the second continental congress.
It is an event that is worth celebrating, with some flag, rises on the flag and a search for thread words that made us look for the most common flag symbols.
One of today’s answers, the moon, appears in 13 national flags and name them all would be a quite good trial question. By the way, did you know that there are six American flags on the moon, one for each mission of the Apollo, but there is no official flag of the moon? This feels like an oversight.
How did you do it today? Avise me in the comments below.
