I expected the Spangram to explain “snake”, but that would be too obvious, and too short.
Despite knowing what we were looking for, I struggled to find a snake, but I located many words that are not games, so I had a clue to get going. Adder put me and from there I slid to glory.
That said, I took “rattle” instead of Rattler about three times before adding the R once there was no other option.
