The responses to today’s threads, game #565, are …
- RICE
- COCONUT
- ALMOND
- Macadamia
- LINEN
- CASHEW
- SPANGRAM: NODOYMILK
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: Perfect
The theme made me look immediately for the sauce, the salted sauce that we have in the United Kingdom, not in the American version, but the lack of a letter g or v made me think otherwise.
Instead, we were looking for varieties of non -dairy milk and, although the two most common, oats and soybeans were absent, it turned out to be an elementary search with few surprises.
As a lactose intolerant person, I have tried many of these alternatives and some who did not make the cut as a pea, sesame seeds and chufa (sometimes known as Tigre nut), but I have never seen Macadamia milk.
