NYT Strands Today (game #498) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #498 are …
- TEACHER
- MAYOR
- CONCIERGE
- LIBRARIAN
- FIREFIGHTER
- Spangram: Community
- My qualification: Hard
- My score: 1 track
Although the teacher was easy to detect, hanging out very visibly in the upper left corner, the rest of today’s responses represented a word search challenge.
With the exception of the mayor, each word was difficult to do, and the concierge took me a long time, although I can use an excuse of cultural differences here, as I am in the United Kingdom and we call this profession a caregiver.
That said, I am very familiar with the word thanks to the initial titles of Hanna Barbera’s cartoon Hong Kong Phoey and his introduction of “Henry the janitor of soft manners.”
Meanwhile, after a series of sensitive, straight and short, we have returned to experimentation with today’s yellow snake that ends in the middle of the puzzle. Crazy.
How did you do it today? Avise me in the comments below.
Yesterday Nyt Strands responses (Sunday July 13, game #497)
