NYT Strands Today (game #428) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #428, are …
- STEAK
- HOME
- CURLY
- WAFFLE
- WRINKLE
- SHOESTRING
- Spangram: French fries
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: Perfect
French fries or fried potatoes, as some like to call them, or fries as we say in the United Kingdom, are the only reason why the potato is, with much, the best vegetables. That you can have so much flavor, a crunchy wonder and a variety of a soft starch tuber is a miracle.
Today’s search, of course, has made me hungry, although I did not work exactly an appetite doing it (there are no headaches of the thermometer today) and made me ask me which is my favorite type of “frying.”
If thrust is produced, I think it would have to go for a fat chip chip (also known as french fries) drowning in salt and vinegar with a little curry sauce “next to”.
Well, that’s enough of this disconcerting, I’m going to Chippy!
