NYT Strands Today (game #489) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #489 are …
- CLOCK
- LOOK
- CHRONOMETER
- HOURGLASS
- SUNDIAL
- SPANGRAM: Timber
- My qualification: Hard
- My score: 1 track
My first thought when I saw the theme “every second count” was the television program. The bearsince that phrase has appeared many times in the four seasons.
However, I soon realized that it was very niche and we were really looking for a much more literal interpretation.
Suffering a bad case of letters of letters, I took a track after finding dozens of words that we were not looking for. The clock unlocks the rest of the board in a matter of minutes.
Until this puzzle, I didn’t really realize what a stopwatch was, I thought it was an elegant bracelet watch. But the main thing in what this search made me think is how we built our entire life around time, but we have very few timingors, as evidenced by the fact that this search includes the mood and the sand watch. It is almost as if we did not have enough time to invent new ways to maintain time.
How did you do it today? Avise me in the comments below.
