Knowing the words we were looking for certainly made today’s threads an easier task. But despite being the most obvious and easy to discover words, I still found contrary to the last.
I am sure that we all had the children’s rhyme (or as some people can know, ROUD FOLK SANG INDEX NUMBER 19626) Going around in our heads while we were looking for the various things, the opposite, Mary liked to align in her garden, namely, silver bells, shells of berobe, and beautiful maids, all in a row.
Like many nursery rhymes, this is one with macabre origins; Although disputed, many scholars think that words refer to Mary Queen of Scots, with the garden representing a cemetery full of all the people who dared to disturb her.
On the other hand, it could be so easily on a woman named Mary who liked to paste shells in her garden.
