NYT Strands Today (game #550) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #550, are …
- CRAZY
- ABSURD
- RECKLESS
- PECULIAR
- STRANGE
- ECCENTRIC
- SPANGRAM: OUT OF THE WALL
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: Perfect
The letter Z made Zany easy to find today, but I distracted me too much trying, and fail, connect ‘crazy’ that I did not occur strange to me closer to the end.
Q was another letter that facilitated life here and peculiar, along with Madcap, managed to show us where the Spangram was.
Of all these descriptions for someone who is “far from ordinary”, eccentric is the one who would choose if the question were “What attribute would you like more in someone with whom he is caught in an elevator for an hour”?
The rest carries an element of risk, danger or the possibility that he is caught with a juggler. An eccentric person is often someone with a couple of unusual habits or views and it is much less likely to carry a chainsaw or the clown’s nose.
Yesterday Nyt Strands responses (Wednesday, September 3, game #549)

- BROWN
- GRANULATED
- INVEST
- POWDERED
- Turbinate
- Spangram: Sugary
