NYT Strands Today (game #485) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #485 are …
- SLIDE
- CAROUSEL
- TRAIN
- Fun house
- Jumble
- SPANGRAM: ATTRACTION PARK
- My qualification: Hard
- My score: 1 track
I fought with today’s words, mainly because many of these words had a meaning.
A track of the beginning gave me slide, but the track of the ‘Center for Attraction’ did not give me any clue about what the general concept was. I went in search of more random words to win another track and I came across the carousel after getting a word I don’t play ‘take off’.
That gave me an idea of what I had to do, finally, but I couldn’t find out what the last answer was. Finally, I managed to bother him in Scrabler, but without knowing what he meant.
I thought a scramble was a type of motorcycle. Instead, it is one of those walks that has different names worldwide: in the United Kingdom we cause a tornado, but the Australians will be equally perplexed since they call it cha cha, according to Wikipedia.
