The phenomenon of wings is fascinating. Once the part of a chicken that nobody wanted to eat, now they are so popular that there are a few weeks every year in which people find out on social networks during a shortage when the supermarket shelves are temporarily naked and the voice extends that Domino’s is being short.
It is not surprising that there are supply fluctuations. According to the National Chickn Council, Americans consumed 1.5 billion chicken wings during the Super Bowl weekend this year, that is 20 million the previous year.
