NYT Strands Today (game #548) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #548, are …
- LINE
- AREA
- VOLUME
- ANGLE
- PLANE
- SPOT
- CIRCLE
- Spangram: Geometry class
- My qualification: Hard
- My score: 2 tracks
Like Sam Cooke in Wonderful world I don’t know what a slide rule is, but I recognized that today’s threads were to draw on some kind, although I was on the wrong way for a while.
After getting the line quickly, I saw “class” and, instead of finding “geometry”, I saw that it was connected with “art.” I was so convinced that the “art class” was today’s spangram that I tried twice before moving.
Finally, what helped me was to take a track and get area and then find volume, effectively cut the board in half and make that incredibly long spangram easier to detect.
Yesterday Nyt Strands responses (Monday, September 1, game #547)

- ATTEND
