A new Nyt Strands puzzles appears at midnight every day for their time zone, which means that some people are always playing ‘game today’ while others are playing ‘yesterday’. Strands is the last word game of the NYT after the tastes of Wordle, Spelling Bee and Connections, and is very fun. However, it can be difficult, so keep reading for my threads.
Do you want more words based on words? Then, look at my nyt connections today and Quordle Today pages for suggestions and answers for those games, and Marc Wordle Today’s page for the original viral word game.
Spoiler warning: Nyt Strands information today is below, so don’t read if you don’t want to know the answers.

NYT Strands Today (game #479) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #479 are …
- LOOK
- BAG
- JEWELRY
- PERFUME
- CONVERTIBLE
- Spangram: Luxury articles
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: Perfect
There is not much stretch today, with all the words hidden in view with minimal turns. The biggest surprise was the very rare view of a spangram that started at the top and ended on one side.
“It is worth the waste” immediately made me think about family vacations, which is almost always worth spending their money earned so much effort. On the other hand, after finding a clock and bag, it was obvious that we were looking for the standard variety of luxury items.
What all the elements we were looking for today are in common is that all are not essential and that the cheapest versions of all are available, although with the exception of perfume, everything can be justified as a waste since they do not depreciate at the same rate as those cheapest versions (that is what we tell each other anyway).
How did you do it today? Avise me in the comments below.
