Strands is the latest NYT word game after Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connections, and it’s a lot of fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands suggestions.

The hardest part of today’s game was my last word: REVENGE, which took me a lot longer than it really should have.
I also wasted time trying to find CAVE, one of several notable absences from the BATMAN world.
My favorite version of the Caped Crusader is Adam West’s original version from the ’60s, and it saddens me that Bruce Wayne has become increasingly pessimistic since then; the recent version of Robert Pattinson, for example, would be much improved if he wore a spandex bodysuit and corrected people for their bad grammar.

Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new word game, after Wordle and Connections. It is now a full member of the NYT Games group that has been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
