After a long series of fairly easy games, Strands has gone in the opposite direction, with another complicated quest and a difficult to spot spangram.
The top left corner is usually the key to whether I’m fast or not, and today’s blank space had me scrolling around the board until I found something vaguely “inconspicuous and elusive.”
Fortunately, after FALLING OUT, the word NEBULOUS revealed itself before my eyes and I was on my way, or so I thought.
Struggling to think of more words that fit the topic, I went searching for non-game words and picked up a clue that would eventually help me limp to the finish line.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Thursday, November 13, game #620)
- SPRAY
- SCRUB
- STAIN
- WASH
- SOAK
- STEAM
- BLEACH
- SPANGRAM: STAIN REMOVAL
