NYT Strands Today (Game #635): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 635 are…
- COIN
- FOUNTAIN
- LADYBUG
- STAR
- DANDELION
- EYELASH
- SPANGRAM: MAKEAWISH
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 track
The topic was pretty vague so I wasn’t sure what kind of words I was looking for, I collected non-gaming words and took a hint.
After getting COIN, I immediately saw FOUNTAIN and originally thought we were looking for word pairs after seeing the MAKEAWISH spangram.
There are an incredible number of things that we consider to bring us luck and, at the same time, bad luck.
I remember spending hours searching for a four-leaf clover as a child, believing that it would be my path to a serendipitous life.
Likewise, I’m doomed to believe in dozens of signs of bad luck and can’t walk past a magpie without saying hello, can’t spill salt without throwing some over my shoulder, and walk into oncoming traffic instead of under a ladder.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Thursday, November 27, game #634)
- LIFE
- FRIENDS
- FAMILY
- FOOD
- COMMUNITY
- WORK
- HEALTH
- SPANGRAM: GRATEFUL
