Strands is the latest NYT word game after Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connections, and it’s a lot of fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands suggestions.

After easily getting STONE and BRONZE from my starting point in the top left corner, I enjoyed the rare experience of knowing exactly what we were looking for, confirmed by another short spangram.
The only really misleading words today were INDUSTRIAL and INFORMATION; the latter is the era we currently find ourselves in, even though information, or at least facts, are at risk.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new word game, after Wordle and Connections. It is now a full member of the NYT Games group that has been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
