NYT Strands Today (Game #715): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 715 are…
- HOP
- RAISE
- LOOP
- COMBINED
- CROSSING
- THROW
- SPIN
- SPANGRAM: FIGURE SKATING
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 track
Seeing a strange letter like J in the game is a great help in understanding a word, but after finding JUMP I need more help, so I took a hint. LIFT also didn’t help me understand what we were looking for.
In a search for more non-game related words, I discovered skating, then FIGURE SKATING, and finally realized our Winter Olympics-themed fun.
I enjoy the events in Italy, but I think there should be more multi-sport events like there are for athletics. Maybe something that combined skeleton, snowboarding and curling would be a hit? Furthermore, considering the important role they play in coverage, they could also organize a drone race to the top of the mountain and back.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Sunday, February 15, game #714)
- GRASP
- APPREHEND
- FATHOM
- UNDERSTAND
- REALIZE
- SPANGRAM: SEE THE LIGHT
