This was a baffling game for the most part, mainly because I didn’t understand what the theme was until the end of the game.
Getting non-game words was no problem, but the ones we really needed posed a challenge, so I looked for a clue to get started.
Prioritizing speed over elegance has become a cultural trend in food, although I must admit it confused me for a long time and I was embarrassed to ask what my friends meant when they said they went for a “dirty” pizza.
Were they going to eat it off the floor (Mmmm…floor pizza) or were the ingredients so fresh that they were still covered in dirt?
In the end I found out it was dirty because it was supposed to be some kind of self-shaming line: we know it’s bad for us, but we love it.
