The answers to today’s Strands game #608 are…
- DELICIOUS
- SCRUMPTIOUS
- TASTY
- DELICIOUS
- SPANGRAM: GOOD TASTE
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 track
There were only four words and one spangram in today’s game, but we had to work hard to find them; well, I did it anyway!
After finding a half-dozen non-play words and mistakenly thinking our task was to find words associated with good manners, I took a hint and DELICIOUS set me on my way.
It took me many tries to change the spelling, but I finally found SCRUMPTIOUS, a word whose most famous appearance is in the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song Truly delicious – before the much easier TASTY and DELICIOUS.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Friday, October 31, game #607)
- SKULL
- FEMUR
- FIBULA
- ULNA
- RADIO
- BREASTBONE
- HUMERUS
- SPANGRAM: SKELETON
