NYT Strands Today (Game #622): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game #622 are…
- GLASSES
- BINOCULARS
- GOGGLES
- GLASSES
- GLASSES
- SPANGRAM: EYE EYE
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
Even though it was hidden in my usual initial possession, I couldn’t see GLASSES – Oh! The irony!
Instead, I saw the non-playful word “geese,” which instantly made me think of the excellent band of the same name and my current favorite song of theirs. taxes, which I haven’t stopped thinking about for weeks. I think it was still in my brain while I was collecting other non-game words related to money: “lease,” “stolen,” “cost,” and “sale.”
Anyway, I digress. I finally saw the GLASSES, managed to navigate the board and find the other visuals pretty easily, even if the BINOCULARS gave me a bit of spelling trouble. I’m more of a “monocular” person.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Friday, November 14, game #621)
- WEAK
- NEBULOUS
- FAINT
- SUBTLE
- UNDERRATED
- SPANGRAM: JUST HERE
