NYT Strands Today (Game #707): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 707 are…
- OLIVE
- CHERRY
- SHRIMP
- SPIN
- CELERY
- LACE
- SPANGRAM: cocktail garnish
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 track
I knew I was in trouble after being given six non-game words and having no idea what today’s topic was about.
A clue was given to me by OLIVE, but it took me a little while to turn it into a word even though it only had five letters. At this point I thought the search should be for fancy party hors d’oeuvres and snacks.
After getting CHERRY, I finally got it and worked my way around the board collecting other cocktail fantasies, including the spectacular cocktail glass-shaped spangram: chin, chin.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Saturday, February 7, game #706)
- BORED
- MUNDANE
- SAD
- TIRED
- MONOTONOUS
- SPANGRAM: LOOK PAINT DRY
