Strands stumped me today, for the second day in a row.
Fortunately, I managed to find many non-game words, including the 9-letter word “reception.” If you had looked more carefully at this stage you might have seen OPTION sooner. Instead, I needed a clue before I realized what the topic was.
After my initial triumph I took another clue and thank God I did, because DRUTHERS is one of those words that only exists in New York Times puzzle games and Stephen Fry novels.
