Strands is the latest NYT word game after Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connections, and it’s a lot of fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands suggestions.

I didn’t use any hints, but I was very tempted to do so, as these intellectual games in Strands test my limits.
The topic was at least obvious, so I went straight to the most obvious and currently controversial prize: PEACE. Something that now seems to have a rival in the FIFA World Peace Prize.
LITERATURE was next and then I searched for “science” before coming up with three science-based areas. I needed to get them all before seeing the spangram.

Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new word game, after Wordle and Connections. It is now a full member of the NYT Games group that has been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
