Unlike today’s optimistic search words, I clearly lacked the necessary motivation when I started this game, so I took the lazy route and took a hint to start the search: EAGER confirms the theme.
After this, my next two finds came to pieces as I watched ENTHUS, ASTIC, ZEAL and OUS before putting them together.
FERVENT was today’s uncommon word; the V made it easier to label them, while the spangram summed up the sickeningly positive nature of the entire search.
