A fun and easy game today.
There’s a school of thought that if you BURCH in front of friends and family it means you’re comfortable around them and it’s a weird kind of compliment. In certain cultures it is also considered a polite sign of gratitude after a meal. However, it’s hard to think that the rest of the words in the current search would be considered anything other than rude.
I find it almost impossible to listen to British political debate as they constantly INTERRUPT each other. Come to think of it, British politicians are guilty of all the other bad behavior too; maybe it would be better if they just burped at each other.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Tuesday, January 20, Game #688)
- HEEL
- LANGUAGE
- VAMP
- ONLY
- CORD
