NYT Strands Today (Game #596): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 596 are…
- MEMORANDUM
- SIGNATURE
- ROUTING
- NUMBER
- ADDRESS
- AMOUNT
- SPANGRAM: CHECKLIST
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 track
Playing from the UK I wasn’t sure of the terminology for mailing a check, but it all made sense in the end.
Ironically, considering this was a search on financial terminology, “chase” was the first non-game word I found, along with a few others that gave me a clue.
Getting MEMO didn’t help much, but then I saw the CHECKLIST, which helped reveal the SIGNATURE; It’s always a surprise when you realize that such a long word has been hiding in plain sight.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Sunday, October 19, game #595)
- DIP
- GELATIN
- BUTTER
- CIDER
- COMPOTE
- strudel
- FRITTER
- SPANGRAM: APPLES
