I’ll never forget the noise of the Las Vegas casino I once visited on vacation: a constant noise of bells, coins, electronic burps, and chimes coming from legions of slot machines. It was a sound that followed me everywhere and that echoed in my head for days.
The place seemed like a fly trap scientifically designed to keep me in as long as possible, with the sound, the hypnotic carpets, the free drinks, the feeling that it could be any time of the day… all calibrated to make me lose consciousness. reason and I transform into a gambling zombie.
THE GAME is a fool’s game, so being a fool (and already broke) I had to get out quickly, although it took me a while to find my way out.
How was today? Let me know in the comments below.
