Today’s theme was obvious, but for a fleeting moment I thought Strands might be paying homage to the Northern Soul music movement of the 1970s, whose motto was Keeping The Faith.
The scene is quite an anomaly in the history of British music and centered on a handful of SACRED SPACES (nightclubs) in cities in the north of England, who stayed up all night playing rare soul records (and the rarer, the better). ). Despite having a relatively short life, he had an enormous legacy, thanks to music and the passion and fervor of his followers.
Well, Strands ready, I’m going to listen tainted Love.
