Auburn Tigers’ male basketball coach Bruce Pearl criticized President Barack Obama for the statement he made about the hunger situation in Gaza.

Obama suggested that the aid must flow to the Palestinians, regardless of whether Israel can ensure a hostage agreement.

Pearl, who is the president of the United States Israel Education Association, criticized the former president on Monday for not demanding that Hamas return to the hostages he has had since the terrorist attacks of October 7, October 7.

“You gave thousands of millions to Iran and Hamas creating this disaster and not a word of you asking to free the hostages, give up and end the war! Tell Hamas to 1) stop stealing and reselling help 2) Stop attacking GHF workers who feed the gazanes. 3) Leave and end suffering,” Pearl wrote in X.

Obama made the statement on social networks on Sunday in reference to the New York Times reports stating that “Gazanes are dying of starvation.” Israel, who blocked Gaza aid earlier this year, has recently begun to advance aid resources in the region, and its leaders argue that starvation reports are a false campaign promoted by Hamas.

However, informing Trey Yingst of Pak Gazette has indicated that hunger is spreading throughout the region.

“While a lasting resolution to the crisis in Gaza must imply a return of all hostages and a cessation of Israel’s military operations, these articles underline the immediate need for measures to avoid the parody of innocent people who die of preventable starvation,” Obama wrote in X, providing a link to the times.

“Help should be allowed to reach people in Gaza. There is no justification to maintain food and water away from civil families,” he added.

President Donald Trump promoted the efforts of the United States to provide help to Gaza when asked about the situation on Sunday. While meeting with the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, at that time, declared that Europe has not provided help to Gaza. He also said that Hamas is stealing much of the help that is sent to the Palestinians, an affirmation that Israel has repeatedly presented.

“When I see children and when I see, especially in recent weeks, people steal food, they are stealing money, they are stealing money for food. They are stealing weapons, they are stealing everything,” Trump told reporters.

“It is a disaster, all that place is a disaster. The Gaza Strip, you know that it occurred many years ago so that they could have peace. That didn’t work too well,” he added.

Pearl, who is Jewish, has been more frank against Hamas terrorists and the ongoing conflict in the Middle East from terrorist attacks.

He explained about the “Jewish podcast” in June about why he speaks.

“Here is the deal. One of the reasons why I do it is really simple. What is your study course of the Middle East that teaches you in high school? Oh, don’t you have one? Oh, then we go to social networks and read the lies and propaganda,” Pearl explained.

“At the bottom of their minds it is: ‘Maybe they are right. Maybe the Jews stole the earth. They might take them out of their home. I don’t know.’ Well, that’s because they have never taught you. [which is] A very, very strong minority. “
