- Xbox Game Studios title Avowed is coming to PS5 next month
- It will arrive on the Sony console at the same time as the game’s anniversary update.

obsidian Declared It will be the last Xbox Game Studios title to make the jump from Xbox Series X|S to PS5.
As reported by IGN, game director Gabriel Paramo and lead character artist Dimitri Berman were interviewed at the New Game+ Showcase to talk about declared First anniversary update.
The game will arrive on PS5 on February 17, 2026, which is the same day that said anniversary update arrives. Pre-orders for the PS5 version also went live today.
Declared It will be one of many Xbox Game Studios titles that have joined the PS5 library or will do so in the future. Favorites like Forza Horizon 5Sea of thieves, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, among others, they are all available on the Sony machine. Meanwhile, Forza Horizon 6 and Halo: Evolved Campaign are scheduled to arrive on PS5 in the future.
declared The anniversary update looks like it will be a major improvement over the base game. Big additions include a photo mode, New Game Plus, new playable races, and some quality of life additions.
It’s a game I really enjoyed last year when I played it for review. Declared It has Obsidian’s typical excellent writing, and I found a lot to enjoy in the gorgeous open areas and variety of character building. These anniversary editions sound like a great excuse to dive into a new character.
