In the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the process of selling obsolete, non -operational and unusable electric power plants of the four state -generated energy generation companies has begun through an auction.
The auction will take place on May 19 at the Genco Holding Company office in Islamabad from 9 am to 5 pm the officials have assured that the process will be transparent and impartial. Assistants of the four Public Sector Energy Generation Companies.
Interested parties and the media have been especially invited to guarantee transparency. The measure reflects the government’s commitment to the reforms in the electricity sector and transparent privatization.
