“The Joe Burrow Foundation was based on the belief that everyone has the responsibility of doing good. We have finished an advisory member of the Board who made inappropriate comments in the light of recent events and are no longer associated with the foundation,” reads the statement.

“Your comments do not reflect our values or our mission. We are committed to responsibility and respect for all.”

Berry appeared as a member of the Board previously advised on the Foundation’s website. The statement did not appoint Berry or refer directly to Kirk’s murder. Pak Gazette Digital contacted the organization for a statement to clarify whether Berry was the finished member.

Ohio The state representative Adam Mathews shared the declaration of the foundation on social networks and confirmed to Pak Gazette Digital on Tuesday that Berry was the member of the advisory board completed by the Foundation. The Republican legislator previously published a statement requested by the judge’s resignation after the comments of the social networks that Mathews said he celebrated Kirk’s murder “with a vitriolic language, racially loaded and political.”

“A judge must be a pillar of equity and impartiality in our community,” Mathews said. “To see a judge sitting to publish comments such as ‘Rest in hate and division!’, Ask ‘How do you feel about armed violence and weapons control in hell, now?’, And then celebrate the murderer’s race saying ‘Then, a white guy killed him! Color the karma!’ It is shocking and completely unacceptable. “

He continued: “This is not the conduct of a neutral referee of the law; it is the behavior of a political activist who has abandoned the central principles of his position.”

Mathews warned that if Berry did not give up his position, he would file a formal complaint with the Disciplinary Advisor Office of the Ohio Supreme Court.

Berry, who will retire in January 2026, told him to Cincinnati Enquirer that he does not “condemn any kind of violence in any human being.”

“I regret if I caused division,” he continued. “That was not my intention. And I hope there may be peace.”

Pak Gazette Digital could not contact Berry to comment. The president of the Hamilton County Democratic Party, Alex Loner, told Fox 19 that in response to the “disappointing and divisive comments of Berry, the judge would not be recognized in an upcoming judicial event.

In a statement to Pak Gazette Digital, Mathews praised Linser for his response and renewed calls to the judge’s resignation.

“As a follow -up, I am pleased to see his fellow lawyer and president of the Democratic Party Alex Lonser to speak against Ted Berry’s behavior and eliminate Berry from his next celebration of fundraising from the judges. It is the right decision. The bipartisan condemnation of his horrible and racist language is proof that we can meet. Berry must resign.”
