Gilgous-Alexander, who had been outside during the first five quarters of the series, found his shot in the second quarter. He hit two triples to 55 seconds away to put Oklahoma City 55-38.
Oklahoma City led 70-52 at the break after establishing a team’s playoff record with 12 triples in the first half.
Memphis began to hot in the third and reduced his deficit to a single digit, but the Thunder took an advantage of 90-79 in the fourth.
Cason Wallace of Oklahoma City pretended Zach Edey, then it was base for a single hand jam that put the Thunder 97-79 and put the crowd standing.
The Thunder kept Memphis without goals for almost four minutes to start the room.
