During a trip to Montreal in Canada, Lee showed off her failed attempt at skiing with a photo and video of her lying on her front on skis after falling right in front of the entrance to the slope. He claims it will be the last time he tries to ski.

“First time skiing,” he wrote. “My God, never again.”

A video of her lying in the snow, which was taken by her friend Samira Ahmed and shared with Lee’s own story, showed the gymnast laughing as she writhed in the snow. A caption on that video read: “This is why I stay off the slopes.”

While fans certainly can’t expect to see Lee compete in the upcoming 2026 Milan Olympics, his difficulties in skiing are certainly not due to a lack of athleticism or coordination.

She has also received many notable sports honors and awards, including in 2021, when she was named Sports Illustrated’s Female Athlete of the Year and the Women’s Sports Foundation’s Sportswoman of the Year.
