The Olympic sprinters Noah Lyles and Kenny Bednarek had some extracurricular activity during, and after a tense 200 -meter race on Sunday.
The two -time Olympic couple fought in an unforgettable race, in which Lyles won the United States championship again in Eugene, Oregon.
Lyles, the reigning 100 -meter gold medalist and three times 200 -meter world champion, returned from behind to defeat Bednarek and the rest of the field, crossing the finish line in 19.63 seconds, four hundredths of a second faster than Bednarek.

However, before they crossed the line, Lyles turned to Bednarek and looked down when they finished the race, which caused a push next to Bednarek. Lyles stopped and turned, before Bednarek apparently realized his mistake and extended his hand for a handshake.

Perhaps Lyles felt the need to celebrate considering what happened in Paris last summer, days after Lyles won gold in the 100 meters, aimed to become the first American corridor from Carl Lewis in 1988 to win double in the Olympic Games. 200 meters has always been the specialty of Lyles.
However, he formed bronze when he revealed that he fought against Covid -19: Bednarek won money.
Despite his handshake, there seemed to be some bad blood between the two during a joint interview with NBC.
“I tell you that, if you have a problem, I hope a call,” said Bednarek, while Lewis Johnson of the network moved the microphone among the runners.
Lyles replied: “You know what, you’re right. You’re right. Let’s talk after this.”
He did not stop there: Bednarek made more comments after both runners left the track.

“What he said did not matter, it is just what he did,” said Bednarek. “Octide (expletive) and I don’t deal with that. It is a respect factor. It is fresh. The last time we align it, I won it, that’s all I can say. The next time we align us, I’m going to win. That is all that matters.”
Bednarek made reference to some long -term problems between the two.
“Only some personal things we have to drive,” he said.
This is not the first time that Lyles has a meat with a fellow US corridor. Uu. He and Fredd Kerley have also exchanged verbal jokes during the last year.

Lyles, of course, has also had an apparent rivalry with Tyreek Hill.
