Islamabad:
The opposition leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub Khan, has strongly condemned the Indian aggression not caused along the control line (LOC), declaring an unacceptable and shameless violation of international standards.
He expressed solidarity with innocent civilians injured in the attack and offered prayers for the martyrs who lost their lives in the assault not caused from India.
He said that the nation and the Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) are firmly with the soldiers, pilots, aviators and sailors who defend the borders of Pakistan.
In a statement, the PTI leader said that the blatant missile attacks in India were unjustified, provocative and endangered the peace and stability of the entire region.
However, he lamented that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was “busy appealing to Modi and India” instead of responding firmly, “all due to the commercial interests of the Sharif family with the magnate of Indian businesses Sajjan Jindal, president of JSW Group of Industries.”
The opposition leader warned that Indian aggression represented not only a threat to Pakistan but also for global peace.
