At a press conference on Monday, the opposition leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, criticized the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP) and its leadership, particularly President Asif Ali Zardari and President Bilawal Bhutto.

He accused them of having broken records for corruption in Sindh and said that both Zardari and Bilawal sold Sindh’s water.

Ayub expressed his disapproval of the current government, led by the PPP, and denounced President Zardari, stating: “Zardari calls himself the president, but we do not recognize this government installed. Zardari said nothing that was worth it today.”

He continued: “The PPP has broken corruption records in Sindh. Either Asif Zardari or Bilawal Bhutto, both are selling the water in the province. The Government has participated in the support of the controversial law of the Peca (prevention of electronic crimes) with form 47. There is a gang of notorious criminals in Punjab, with Dr. Usman to the helm. The current government has failed economically. “

Ayub also criticized the management of the economy government, stating that corruption had reached unprecedented levels.

In addition, he commented: “They are celebrating a reduction in inflation, but they come, walk with us and see if inflation has really decreased or increased. In the last two years, the Special Investment Facilitation Council has achieved zero results, and our questions remain unanswered. The IT sector has been decimated and there is no foreign investment.”

The opposition leader also raised concerns on Baluchistan security, stating: “There is no security agreement in several Baluchistan districts. Due to negligence, our soldiers are sacrificing their lives. The founding leader of PTI has always said that the army belongs to us, but today, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are wrapped in false cases. “

He continued to highlight the current state of the Nation, saying: “Our leaders and workers are political prisoners. Twenty million young people have abandoned the country, and $ 27 billion have been sent abroad. “

The president of the PTI, the lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, also addressed the speech of President Zardari, stating: “Today we saw Zardari’s legacy behind the image of Benazir Bhutto. In his speech, Zardari could not demonstrate that there is democracy in the country. Zardari did not go through the opposition Chambers and is still a controversial president.”

He added: “Our protest, as seen today, will continue. Decisions are being made outside Parliament, and the Chamber is not given priority. We have already declared that the assembly is incomplete, and this should be recognized.”

Also speaking at the press conference, the opposition leader in the Senate, Senator Shibli Faraz, condemned the approval of laws in the Senate, stating that they lacked moral and legal legitimacy. “The Senate is not even representative of all the provinces,” he said, adding, “how can the elections take place and bills will be approved without the representation of a province?”

The opposition leaders continued to express their discontent with the government’s approach to the Government and the political situation in progress in Pakistan. They emphasized the need for a more responsible and transparent system, together with the fair representation and economic reforms to address the country’s growing challenges.
