Islamabad:
The controversy around the elimination of PTI, Omar Ayub Khan and Shibli Faraz leaders gave a new turn when the lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, on Saturday, challenged the decision of the Superior Court of Peshawar in the Supreme Court.
The PHC had previously suspended the notification of the ECP by disagreeing both legislators after they were convicted. However, the court then lifted the stay order and postponed the procedures.
The lawyer Gohar argued that the direction of the Superior Court was unjustified and should be reserved, maintaining that both leaders had exercised their legal right to appeal to the competent forums.
