Only 25% of the MNA attended all the sessions of the February session


Islamabad:

Around a quarter of the MNA attended the six sessions of the 13th session of the Lower House of Parliament during February 10 to 18, while 46 legislators of House 342 did not appear during the entire session.

According to the assistance report, 77 MNA, or 25%, attended all sessions, while 46 MNA or 15%, did not attend any session. Until 237 MNA or 75%, at least one sitting was omitted during the session, 83 MNA, or 35%, license applications submitted.

Among the absent, 154 MNA, or 65%, the procedures were skipped without any application. The third session witnessed the greatest assistance with 205 MNA, or 65%, present, while the fourth session had the lowest assistance, with 142 MNA, or 45% present.

Among the members of the Cabinet, the Minister of State for Finance and Income, and the Minister of Power had the highest assistance, participating in five sessions. The prime minister did not attend any session, while the opposition leader attended three sessions.
