SAN FRANCISCO: The company of AI based in the United States Anthrope, an OpenAi rival, has launched what affirms that it is its most advanced artificial intelligence model so far, along with good news of a tool that offers premium coding aid to software developers.

Together with Claude 3.7 Sonnet, the San Francisco headquarters is making available, in a previous view of limited research, a digital “agent called Claude Code, adapted to be a tool for software developers.

Anthrope backed by Amazon described the Claude code on Monday as capable of searching and reading code, editing files, executing tests and more.

The launch occurs when IA companies are expelling new products at a fast pace, with innovations rapidly reproduced by rivals, often at a lower cost. This has generated concerns about ensuring a return of the massive investments that are made.

The new Anthrope model is “much stronger in coding, and particularly in assuming and doing really complicated coding tasks,” the co -founder and director of Sciences of Anthropic Jared Kaplan told AFP.

In addition to the improved general intelligence, Claude’s last iteration has a “hybrid” reasoning model that allows users to receive quick answers to the questions or make time spend reflecting on complex consultations and share the steps in the process, according to Kaplan .

The improvement allows Claude to follow the instructions better and manage more sophisticated analysis, he added.

Since Operai launched Chatgpt at the end of 2022, the race has been leading in a technology planned to change the way people live and work.

The AI models have gone beyond generating images, videos or written content to provide “agents” specialized in specific fields or tasks.

Operai launched a version of Chatgpt about six months ago that he shared his “thought” process, but Anthrope followed by allowing his model Claude to eat computers as humans do.

Operai responded with the recent launch of his first AI agent, called operator, with similar capabilities.

Anthrope, who was founded in 2021 by former Operai employees, and his archirival strives to stand out in an increasingly crowded market.

“We strive a lot to make models based on customer problems,” said Product Director Anthrope Mike Krieger.

“When it is only newer, better, faster, it is not so shocking; we try to listen to what people say and ensure that the next model meets those needs.”

Amazon has invested a total of $ 8 billion in anthropic, while Google-Parrent Alphabet has invested $ 2 billion in the startup.
