Oukitel has introduced the WP60 in IFA 2025, a resistant smartphone designed to overcome the limits of screen size and storage capacity.
The brand, already known by the devices that prioritize durability over the delicate style, seems to be established in challenging rivals such as Doogee, Ulefone and Blackview.
Unlike the recently released Oukitel WP300, which emphasized battery resistance on processing resistance, this new model tries to offer a balance of size, storage and performance.
A very large smartphone or phablet
The 7.2 -inch HD+ screen of WP60 and the frame of 184 x 87 x 14.9 mm place it firmly in the phablet territory instead of the standard dimensions of resistant smartphones.
This large panel, combined with Android 15.0, creates a more suitable device for users that can otherwise transport resistant tablets to work in the field.
The resolution of 720 x 1560 can feel limited in a 7.2 -inch panel, especially when clarity is essential.
This could be an inconvenience for smartphones of business, where more clear screens are often needed for productivity and communication tasks.
The WP60 works with the MTK Dimensity 7025 chipset and comes in three configurations: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB and 16GB+512GB.
This variety suggests that Oukitel is aimed at basic and heavy users, although the processor may not be powerful enough to handle demanding tasks at higher levels.
For photography, this mobile phone comes with a 32MP front camera housed on its screen.
In the rear, it has a triple camera configuration that includes a 108MP main camera, which is unusual on a resistant smartphone, combined with an 8MP and 2MP sensor.
To keep the device in operation, Oukitel integrates a 10,000 mAh battery with a 33W PD load, which is an average of resistant devices.
This is not a surprise because Oukitel alternates the battery sizes in its alignment, with models such as the WP200 Pro and WP210 with units of 8,800 mAh, while the WP56 has a much larger capacity of 16,000 mAh.
The external appearance of the Oukitel WP60 echoes the Oukitel WP8 Pro of 2020.
Available in yellow, gray and silver, the device incorporates recognition of fingerprints, NFC and a gyroscope.
According to the company, this resistant smartphone will reach the market on October 15, 2025, although the details of prices remain not announced.
