Paa refutes the rumors of closing of Islamabad airport


Islamabad:

The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) denied that Sunday’s media reports affirm that Islamabad’s International Airport will be closed for eight days, fire them “incorrect and deceitful.”

The authority said that flight operations will only be suspended at two -hour intervals on specific days to facilitate rehearsals for independence day celebrations on August 14, PTV reported citing a PAA statement.

According to Aviators (Notam) issued by the PAA, temporary flight restrictions will be applied during August 6-9 from 11 am to 1 pm and from August 11 to 14 from 8 pm to 10 pm
