Islamabad:
The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) sent on Thursday the case of illegal appointments in Post Pokistan to the National Responsibility Office (NAB), citing serious irregularities in the recruitment practices that exceeded the approved ads.
The PAC session was chaired by Junaid Akbar Khan.
During the meeting, the PAC formed a fifth subcommittee under the presidency of Moeen Pirzada to address the long -standing audit objections.
The Committee, while reviewing the Audit Report of the Communications Division for Fiscal Year 2023-24, expressed its discontent for the absence of the President of the National Highway Authority (NHA). The Secretary of Communications explained that the president was involved in another important meeting.
