The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) detected several irregularities and discrepancies, while reviewing the paras.
PAC met here with its president Junaid Akbar in the chair. PAC expressed its discontent with the delay in the announcement of the results of the central higher services (CSS) by the Federal Public Service Commission (FBSC). The committee was informed that the results would be announced next month. He directed to clean the appointment of FPSC members.
While reviewing the audit parasos related to the PSM, the Committee considered the issue of irregular payments of more than RS1 billion because the residential state of the PSM electricity meters had not yet been granted.
