The Indiana Pacers enter the game on Thursday night against Oklahoma City Thunder on the edge of elimination.
The Thunder defeated the Pacers in game 5 to take an advantage of the NBA final series of 3-2. Even if the paers can avoid the elimination on Thursday, game 6 will mark the last playoff game of the NBA this year that is played in Indianapolis. The series would return to Oklahoma City for game 7, if necessary.
Several hours before game 6, the Pacers shared a gear scream with the team’s followers. “Once again, Indiana,” the Pacers wrote on X on Thursday morning.

“This is the last game at the house of the season. One last chance to fight. Beliar,” a graph was read in the social networks of the Pacers. “Gainbridge Fieldhouse has been electric throughout the year, but this time we will be stronger. Wilder. More implacable than ever. We bring the chaos of the initial council to the final bell. Because tonight, we leave everything out there.”

Then, the Pacers encouraged fans to create a strident atmosphere standing and stirring their yellow towels. “So stand up. Shake those towels. Be dominant. Be deafening and above all … believe.”
The Pacers said the team “will fight to see another day.”
Meanwhile, the star of the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton, makes its way through a tense veal. Even as the beginning of game 6 progresses, the state of Haliburton for tonight remains an interrogation sign.

“I think I have to be as intelligent as I want to be,” said the star guard on Wednesday. “I have to understand the risks, ask the right questions. I am a competitor. I want to play. I’m going to do everything in my power to play. That’s exactly what it is.”

Meanwhile, the superstar of the Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is on the cusp of an almost unprecedented season when it comes to individual honors.
It is the favorite, from now on, to win the MVP of the NBA finals. He has already won the NBA MVP award for this season, which means that it could be the first MVP since LeBron James did it with Miami in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
Gilgous-Alexander also took the NBA score title last season.
Thursday is also the 25th anniversary of the end of Indiana’s most recent appearance in the NBA finals before this season.
