The UConn female basketball program is just where it belongs, on the mountain.
The Huskies obtained their 12th National Championship, all of which have arrived since 1995, with a burst of the current South Carolina champion on Sunday afternoon.
In his last game before heading to the WNBA, Paige Bueckers put 17 points in the 82-59 victory of UCONN over the Gamecocks.

The Huskies led by 10 in half, while South Carolina fought from the floor: they only had 26 points in the first 20 minutes.
