ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan and Azerbaijan on Tuesday reaffirmed their determination to enhance cooperation through regular parliamentary exchanges, mutual visits and joint initiatives to promote sustainable development, regional stability and stronger people-to-people ties.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Senate President Yusuf Raza Gilani and Milli Majlis Speaker of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova held on the sidelines of the International Parliamentary Conference commemorating the 30th anniversary of the country’s Constitution, according to a statement.
