Pak awaits an advance in US fees conversations.


WASHINGTON:

A delegation led by the Minister of Finance, Muhammad Aurangzeb, held a productive meeting with the United States Secretary of the United States Howard Lutnick and the ambassador of the United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer at Washington DC OM on Friday.

Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the progress in the improvement of commercial and economic ties, a cornerstone of the Bilateral Relations of Pakistan-United States. They reaffirmed their commitment to explore opportunities to strengthen these ties in all possible mutual benefit areas.

Aurengzeb emphasized that the United States remains the largest commercial partner of Pakistan and stressed Pakistan’s interest in expanding cooperation in traditional and non -traditional sectors, including the IT and Technology, Mineral and Agriculture sector, to promote a mutually beneficial relationship.

Both parties expressed optimism that ongoing commercial conversations would produce positive results, benefiting the economies of both countries.
