Pak response to acclaimed Indian aggression

Islamabad/Lahore:

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, congratulated the Nation on Sunday for his appropriate response to Indian aggression, with his arrogance reduced to nothing more than dust.

Speaking to a private news channel, the minister said that India had been licking his wounds after Pakistan’s decisive response, and that his pride had collapsed.

He pointed out that India’s policy formulators had been forced to reassess their strategies in the light of Pakistan’s position firm.

Answering a question about possible conversations, he emphasized that Pakistan would prioritize three basic concerns, namely the waters of the Indo, the Kashmir and terrorism. These problems, he said, must be solved to guarantee peace in the region.

“These problems have been long -standing points between Pakistan and India, and solving them would require significant diplomatic efforts,” he said. “Pakistan’s position on these matters is clear, and any significant dialogue would need to address these basic concerns.”

To another question, Khawaja Asif said that India had misunderstood Pakistan’s moderation as weakness, but the armed forces had delivered a decisive response. He praised the professionalism and the global reputation of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

The Federal Power Minister Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari also congratulated the nation the ‘Thanksgiving Day’, calling a time to honor Pakistan’s unity and strength against the recent Indian aggression.

Speaking on the occasion, Leghari praised the leadership and armed forces of the country for defending the nation. “When the enemy attacked, Pakistan remained firm and made history,” he said in a statement.

He accredited the timely decisions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other political leaders for directing the country through a trial time. “I proceed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and all the leaders who guided Pakistan through this trial time,” he added.

Sardar Awais said that the response of the Armed Forces was a source of national pride. “Every enemy’s movement found a strong response. Our forces showed courage and professionalism that proud all citizens,” he said. In addition, he praised his sacrifices, calling him a shared victory for both forces and people.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s position, Leghari said that the country seeks peace but will not accept threats to its sovereignty. “Pakistan has shown the world that although we want peace, it should never be confused with weakness,” he said. He added that if the war is forced to Pakistan, the answer will be decisive.

The president of the Isttehkam-E-Pakistan party, Abdul Aleem Khan, said it was a day to remember Allama Iqbal’s words about Muslim victory over adversaries, words that had come true many times in history.

Punjab Minister of Information, Bokhari Azma, praised on Sunday Pakistan’s last victory over his adversaries as a “brilliant symbol of national unity, sacrifice and visionary leadership”, paying tribute to the armed forces and national leadership for safeguarding the integrity and sobuita of the country.

The president of the Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC), Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, also expanded the sincere congratulations to civil and military leadership for his unified and successful response to hostile provocations.
