Karachi:
The Navy of Pakistan and the Turkish Navy have successfully completed the first bilateral amphibious exercise that marked a significant milestone in strengthening maritime collaboration and interoperability between two armed friends.
The year had an integral range of training activities that include combat shooting techniques, amphibious operation drills, convoy escort drills and military operations in urban land, said a press release issued by the General Directorate of Public Relations (Pak Navy).
The living shooting exercises and the melee combat scenarios, designed to sharpen tactical coordination and preparation in coastal environments were also part of the exercise. The exercise culminated with a comprehensive amphibious drill in the designated coastal area that validated the operational preparation of both marinas.
